Whelan Receives Prestigious LEAD Award

For Marcy Whelan, a career in human resources has been the perfect fit. That’s because at its core, human resources is the intersection of people and business, and those are Marcy’s strengths. So it comes as no surprise that the Missouri State Council of SHRM recognized Marcy’s outstanding reputation in the HR community when it honored her with the LEAD Award at the organization’s annual conference at Tan-Tar-A in August. The LEAD Award stands for Leadership, Excellence, Achievement and Dedication, terms that truly describe Marcy. She has served as membership co-chair of the Lewis & Clark chapter of SHRM, and provides guidance to the chapter as a member of its core leadership team. Her name has become synonymous with excellence and achievement through her years of experience on both the corporate and agency side of the search business.
