The ROI Search Partners Team is always learning and doing their part to keep up with the latest trends and best practices. As part of this quest for knowledge, Jenny Rogers and Julie Whitehead recently attended the ERE Recruiting Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Conference attendees met with expert advisors and took part in hands-on training, covering an array of topics including, employer branding, candidate engagement and understanding military experience and translating veteran resumes.
Though each day was packed with information and activities, the two especially valued the daily “Short Talks” session. During these 10-15 minute sessions, speakers used the time to address one area of concern in Talent Acquisition. Data and analytics, inclusion, Facebook ads, removing unconscious bias and discovery days were just a few of the topics discussed. Information gleaned from the short talks and the conference itself generated many ideas for Jenny and Julie, who returned from the trip energized and appreciative of the opportunity to participate. Enjoying camaraderie and time well spent, the pair returned motivated, inspired and excited to put into action what they have learned.
